Princeton Police Station selects Greenbrier Communications for Phone System Replacement

[Jul-30-2009]

Greenbrier Communications has installed a ShoreTel VoIP phone system at the Princeton Police Station, replacing its aging, limited-feature system with a solution that provides scalability, reliability and the lowest total cost of ownership available.

Their decision to select ShoreTel and Greenbrier Communications was based on several considerations. They preferred the look and feel of the ShoreTel system compared to other vendors’, and were impressed by the productivity enhancing capabilities and standard features such as Voicemail, Auto Attendants, System Scheduling and Work Groups. Ease of use and, of course, initial the cost of the system were important factors as well.
The fact that future customizations and changes to the system can be implemented “in-house” without incurring the cost of an IT specialist to reprogram the system was also a key consideration.
As part of the installation, Greenbrier Communications’ staff conducted comprehensive end-user training and will continue to be available to insure that the Police Department realizes the full potential of their new unified communications system for years to come.
