West Virgina Insurance (WVI) headquarterd in Beckley West Virgina selected Greenbrier Communications to upgrade their entire network infrastructure that included replacing 5 aging fileservers and their phone system.  After the cabling was complete, GCom staff staged the fileservers at their office, then moved them to WVI - Beckley for installation.  Applications and data were migrated from the old equipment to the new fileservers with limited downtime.  At the same time, WVI was experiencing phone problems and looked to GCom for a solution.  WVI choose Shoretel, an industry leader in VOIP solutions.  In the insurance industry, backup and recovery solution play an importnat part in the day to day operations.  WVI selected the Sonicwall Continious Data solution that provides realtime backups for their office.  Sonicwall Firewalls are also used by WVI to connect via the Internet using Virtual Private Networks to the Insurance carriers they represent and also to their agents remote office locations.
